the latest word from Brian:
"…Thanks for understanding. I figured you would.
As for what I have been up to…I have done a second
Forensic Files episode and will film a THIRD on
Wednesday. This is a rare treat since not only do
they pay VERY well, they also don’t take actors
repeatedly too often for realism sake. Other than
that, a lot of extra work on tv shows. Been fun, but
not as fulfilling as roles".
Good luck on your upcoming character roles. That’s
definitely an attractive feature of the business.

A Queens model is doing big things to American magazines. Saskia
Slaaf is conquering the modeling and acting scene in America.
Originally from the Netherlands, Saskia moved to the United States when
she was 4. An actress first, good fortune led Saskia to modeling.
“A photographer saw me and sent me to an agency, and the next thing
I know I’m shooting for French Vogue. I kind of fell into it,” said
Saskia.
“It’s great to be a model. I get to travel the world. I’ve been
able to live in New York, London, Japan, and Amsterdam – why would I
give it up?” Saskia asks. “I get car service anywhere I go, apartments,
and I get to meet a lot of interesting people. I’ve met people like P.
Diddy, Sean William Scott, and Mark Whalberg,” she said.
“My favorite shoot was for Italian Vogue. I got to work with
Steven Meisel, a most famous photographer. I’ve been in almost every
magazine,” she says. “The only one that I haven’t been in, that I would
like to, is Vanity Fair.”
When Saskia is not modeling she likes to paint with oils. “People
really like it,” she says of her art. “I might show them in a gallery
in SoHo.” She also likes to dance, and added, “I’ve been sleeping a
lot, too.”
As for future plans, “I would really like to be a full-time working
actress, with modeling backing me up. I was just cast for a new movie
coming out called ‘God’s Forgotten House,’ and I was also in the movie
‘Rules of Attraction,’ where I played a model.”
As a model and an actress, Saskia’s future looks bright. Watch for her on a screen near you.
